Mr Halsey:
  • Clip get a reaction before we even start- always a good sign. Parallel works well and entertains the audience.
  • Contrapuntal is interesting- because the dancing is in synch (good editing). I'm not sure if it is contrapuntal; would horror clips or similar have been more effective?
  • The contrapuntal aspect is on EBI but some elements did work.

  • Was not very clear for contrapuntal due to it being two dancing videos, causing a little sense of confusion
  • The contrapuntal almost went with the music due to the way he was dancing.
  • The transition was smooth but was also a bit too subtle, as having two dancing clips, the contrapuntal sound loses some effect and isn't as dear/obvious.
  • The music was still parallel even after clips changed.
  • There could have been more contrapuntal elements showed explicitly.

  • In my opinion, the video was entertaining, and the audience who I viewed it to enjoyed it a lot.

  • Contrapuntal were unclear. Parallel seem contrapuntal because Carlton's dancing doesn't go with it usually. Very confusing.

How could you improve on your video?
 
The idea of my video starting off parallel and ending as contrapuntal didn't turn out right. This is because through out the video it seemed very contrapuntal; due to the fact the music is so in sync with the videos I put it with. Instead of putting another music video in for contrapuntal I would put something completely different and shock the audience. Furthermore, I would make sure it is in sync with the horror or Thriller type video I would put on still making it entertaining for the audience.
