1) Type up your teacher's feedback in full. --> - Good use of horror conventions! The music works well, the editing is well-paced in building tension and the little cuts to the blurry white-screen effect work very well. I think you've got a good performance out of your actor too. - The mise-en-scene is mixed. The school desk and the drama studio are pretty easy to identify and it's not clear why it's in that location. The result is that it looks like a school production rather than a professional horror film. Ultimately, we are trying to reach professional standards with the film trailer so that's something to reflect on for the real production. - The key weakness though is that you haven't met the brief. Now complete the following tasks: 1) State the  genre  you have chosen - horror or coming of age drama. --> Horror 2) Choose at least  five  films in your selected genre and watch the trailer and one scene from each film. Make  bullet-point notes  on everything you watch, commenting on camerawork, editing, sound and mise-en-scene. -->  Sinister-  The mise-en-scene in this movie is kept to a very minimum, not many props are used, the use of make up is kept to a minimum and is very natural. The costumes used are very typical of a horror movie. The editing is very mainstream. They give a sense of other genres such as drama and comedy.
