Research: Film trailer analysis  Film trailer 1: Narrative and genre This film trailer successfully communicates the narrative and genre to the audience through the consistent use of the same setting as well as only focusing on main characters who are used consistently throughout The way the trailer communicates narrative and genre is through the sound effects which are quite loud and abrupt, there are also whisperings included in some scenes.
