Comments on Statement of Intent:

Sarah Mark: 4 Grade: D Comments on Statement of Intent: ·          The concept works – I particularly like the way you are planning an extended scene at the beginning of the trailer to create personal identity and an emotional connection between the audience and your main character. However, as a statement of intent you are lacking a few key aspects and need to redraft in certain areas. ·          Written English is a definite area to improve – grammar/sentence structure incorrect in places. ·          You may want to make the beginning easier to follow – title, tagline, genre etc. Does the title need rethinking a little? ·          Far more media terminology is required – look at the brief (minimum requirements) and then outline specific aspects you will create in your cross-media production that meets these requirements. E.g. you offer some quite comprehensive narrative for the storyline but no specific shots, sounds, aspects of mise-en-scene etc. to show how

The father will be wearing a suit and the mother will be wearing a white bodycon dress and Sasha will also be wearing a floral dress because of floral shows a sense of innocence which is what I want to be conveying during these scenes. However, during the school scenes, Sasha will be wearing bright color casua

Ignite Representations-- Learner response

1) Type up your feedback  in full  including the ratings out of five for each category.   Interesting title- I can see it on a film poster or trailer already! obviously, you will need to think about how to make that ain character sympathetic. The tagline is quite long but very interesting from a narrative point of view. In terms of genre, I thought this may be coming of age but tagline helps a little to create horror feel. Some good use of terminology but not enough in terms of specific shots or types of sound. You will definitely need this in your statement of intent.  Church setting/ characteristics work well- classic horror element. Family element adds to this- but one critical element is what you want the audience to hope happens... do we want the character to be saved? Escape from family? Is there a supernatural element or is it all mental health related? In terms of representation, you need a lot more in terms if your plans+use of stereotypes. Also be careful in terms of
